The seller console — your cockpit

The web console is the central place to view and manage your shop’s Meguru records. BYO native draft editing and the first manual publication happen in the merchant’s own authorized environment, followed by same-store, same-item verification. Phone push and email provide alerts.

You: list, price, reply, shipSystem: writes copy, translates, totalsYou see: items, orders, support, settlement estimate

The web console is the central place to view and manage records: it provides listing review, price changes and unlisting, orders and shipping, customer support, notifications and settings. BYO merchants edit native Mercari drafts and manually publish the first listing in their own authorized environment. The result is then bound after verifying the same shop and the same actual item. Browser push on your phone and email provide alerts. The console shows records saved by this system; those records alone do not prove that every Mercari action or message has been synchronized.

Signing in

1
Open the URL
The sign-in URL is console.pfpmarket.space.
2
Sign in with a Google account
Sign-in is Google only — there is no email/password login. Operations must add your Google address to the allowlist before you can get in; if you are refused, first check with operations that your address is enabled. Once in, you only see your own shop.
3
You will not have to keep signing in
One sign-in lasts 30 days, and it extends itself whenever you use the console within those 30 days — if you open the shop most days, you will effectively never see the sign-in screen again. Close the tab, close the browser, come back days later: still signed in.
🔐
So when should you press ‘Sign out’?

When someone else is going to use this computer, or it is shared or borrowed, press “Sign out” at the top right. Signing out invalidates this device’s session on the server — not just the record in the browser — so even if someone gets hold of the machine afterwards, they cannot get in. Conversely, simply closing your own tab does not require signing out.

What the console does

Signing in lands you on the dashboard: three to-do cards at the top (drafts awaiting confirmation / awaiting shipment / unanswered support — click one to go straight to it), plus how many items are on sale and an overview of the month’s settlement estimate. The dashboard’s last six months of sales can be clicked month by month to open that month’s detail. The AI usage for this shop card shows how many AI operations ran and what they were for; the “reference cost” there is only a conversion at API list price, not a bill, and you are not charged for it.

The numbers on the cards are re-read from this system’s records every time you open the dashboard (they are not a fixed cache). One caveat: that means “re-read our own records”, not reconciled with Mercari — the “settlement this month” card covers only revenue that closed through this system. The full explanation is at the top of the Monthly performance page; see also the Monthly settlement chapter.

These are the pages you actually work in:

  • List an item — review the AI’s draft and publish it
  • My products — change price, change title, unlist, relist, automatic price drops
  • Orders & shipping — ship and track
  • Monthly performance — no navigation item of its own; you enter it by picking a month on the dashboard, to see what this system recorded, download that month’s CSV, and where Mercari Shops applies, import the official sales detail to reconcile
  • Customer service — read messages, reply to buyers
  • Notifications — everything outstanding
  • Settings — language, auto-relist allowance, notification channels, shop voice, reference sites
⚠️
Confirm before proceeding

Publishing makes an item public, and choosing a shipping method affects order handling. Review the details before final confirmation. Unlisting on Mercari pauses public visibility without permanently deleting the item; check its actual status on the platform afterward.

The List an item page

This is where you upload the item’s photos (3–6 recommended; the count follows your shop’s setting, and the form shows both how many you have selected and the limit; the first is the cover, and you can add a note). The AI produces a Japanese title, description and suggested price, and it lands in the review list waiting for you. Neither the upload nor the AI draft stage is public; the draft card shows “AI analysing” and usually finishes in about 5–10 minutes (a store using its own machine / AI waits for that machine to connect, and the draft card says why). You can: Edit content (title / description / price), Publish now, Schedule listing (a time in the future, at least 15 minutes out; the form states your device’s time zone), Cancel the schedule, or Discard (discarding means submitting again from scratch). Only after your final confirmation does the item go public, and the system confirms once more before sending.

The My products page

Lists everything you have on sale. Open one and you can: change the title and price; unlist (two-step confirmation — Mercari unlisting pauses public visibility; it does not permanently delete the item); relist; and set the quantity and automatic relisting. When the quantity (resale count) is 2 or more, you can give that one item its own auto-relist switch and post-sale cooldown (leave it unset to follow the shop default on the Settings page). The Price-dropping tab shows how automatic drops are progressing, and you can stop any of them at any time.

The Orders & shipping page

Lists sold orders and their shipping state. For an order awaiting shipment you can choose a shipping method (irreversible; confirmed once more before it is sent) or mark it shipped. Once registered you can copy the barcode number, download the QR or print the QR — you can ship without a phone.

Monthly performance (pick a month on the dashboard)

Clicking a month in the dashboard’s last-six-months view opens the separate Monthly performance page: that month’s sales, the platform fee and the amount payable (net), with the option to download the month’s settlement CSV. These figures are the system’s own calculation from the orders (marked “estimate” while the state is unsettled, “ledger confirmed” once it is), not Mercari’s live ledger. Mercari Shops’ official sales detail has to be imported separately, and a personal Mercari account’s full fees, refunds and payouts have to be checked in the Mercari app. The actual payout follows the platform’s settlement. If the numbers do not match the platform’s, hand operations the downloaded CSV together with the platform’s records. Worked examples are in the Monthly settlement chapter.

The Customer service page

Messages are in one of three states: awaiting reply, replied, escalated to ops. Opening a thread shows the translation and lets you reply, skip or escalate. A buyer’s Japanese message shows the machine translation by default, with the original folded behind “Show original (machine translation, for reference only)”; if your interface language is Japanese, only the original is shown.

You reply in your own language and the system always sends Japanese to the buyer. “Polish with AI before sending” is on by default and can only be turned off on the Japanese interface and only for Japanese content. Sending has a two-step confirmation — “Send? The message goes to the buyer in Japanese.” There is also an AI suggestion that produces a draft with a confidence score. Once a thread has been escalated to ops, the console can no longer reply to it (operations takes over).

Where something is not configured, the console says so plainly rather than pretending it works:

  • no reply channel configured for this account
  • the reply channel is disabled; replies cannot be sent from the console right now
  • the content contains prohibited wording and was not sent
  • sending without polish is only available for Japanese content

The Notifications page

Lists notifications and lets you mark them all read. Important business events such as sold and awaiting shipment cannot be disabled in the console. Phone push requires enablement, subscription and an available channel; system email follows configured channels and settings.

The Settings page

  • Language — follows the system by default
  • Appearance — light / dark mode, following the system by default; you can also pin it to one
  • Automatic relisting — switch + post-sale cooldown. What you set here is the shop default (every item follows it); an individual item can differ if you set it on that item (resale count ≥ 2 required)
  • Auto-relist overview — a read-only list: which items have a resale count, and how far through the sequence each is. Red means “sold, but the next one did not go up” — the chain broke there, so open that item and look (usually out of stock, or unlisted)
  • Notification settings — pick a channel per category
  • Notification display name — pushed notifications start with this name, e.g. “【Betty】🔔 Item sold”. It is how you tell shops apart when you run several. Leave it blank for no prefix
  • Add to home screen / browser push — install the console as a phone app; with browser push on you receive important notifications without the page open (on iPhone you must add it to the home screen first)
  • Member management — invite colleagues into this shop and give each of them permissions; see below
  • Standard listing and transaction text — the block appended to every listing description, and the message sent to the buyer when you ship; see below
  • Firm-price (decline haggling) auto-reply — politely declines when a buyer asks for a discount; see below
  • Shop voice — the tone your shop’s copy is written in (the warmth of an individual seller, the composure of a specialist shop). Once set, the AI writes server-side drafts in that tone; without it a default tone is used. BYO shops, whose drafts are made on their own Mac, do not use this setting
  • Reference sites — the comparison sites to consult when pricing. Once set, server-side drafts are priced with those sites’ going rates in view. BYO shops, whose drafts are made on their own Mac, do not use this setting
  • My browser connection (Bridge) — runs listing inside your own Chrome; see the “Listing from your own computer (Bridge)” chapter
  • Connect your own AI (Claude / ChatGPT) — see below

If your shop has the wholesale market enabled, the Settings page also gains wholesale delivery address, invoice details, referral programme and mentor rewards. Those belong to wholesale and are written up in the Wholesale market chapter.

🔑
Cannot see something? That is permissions, not a fault

Every block on the Settings page is shown according to this account’s permissions: without “change settings” you will not see shop voice, standard text, firm-price or the notification connector; without “member management” you will not see member management; without wholesale enabled you will not see the wholesale blocks. If you cannot see something you genuinely need, ask operations to enable it — reinstalling or changing browser will not help.

Member management: let colleagues in, each with their own permissions

Under Settings → Member management you can invite colleagues into this shop’s console. Enter their Gmail address (Gmail only, because sign-in goes through Google), pick a role, and press Invite — they can sign in immediately with that Google account, with no password and no waiting for an email.

The four roles are preset bundles of permissions, not titles:

Role Roughly what they can do
Owner Everything: list and unlist, ship, support, change settings, manage members, see the finances
Operations List and unlist, ship, support, change settings — cannot see the finances
Support Support replies only (can see financial figures)
Finance Figures and exports only; cannot touch items or support

When a role does not quite fit, open custom capabilities for that one member and tick each item (general view / financial view / data export / listing and unlisting / shipping / support replies / change settings / member management). Once custom is on, that member no longer follows the role’s defaults; set them back to match the role and the system automatically returns them to following it.

When someone leaves, or you need to shut them out temporarily, use Suspend — the account and its data remain, but they cannot sign in. Press Restore later and they are back.

📝
Change a permission and their very next action is blocked

The console re-reads that person’s role and capabilities on every request. It does not take a snapshot at sign-in and use it all day. So reducing someone’s permissions, or pressing Suspend, blocks their next action. You do not have to wait for them to sign in again or for anything to expire.

⚠️
But their screen keeps the old buttons for a while

The action is blocked immediately; the screen does not follow immediately. If you only reduced permissions, the buttons and tabs in their browser still render under the old ones and are refused when pressed. The interface catches up when they next sign in (or when the system renews them automatically, up to about 12 hours; reopening or switching tabs in the meantime does not speed it up). So “they can still see that button” does not mean the change has not taken effect — it will not do anything. To shut someone out immediately, press Suspend: their next action sends them back to the sign-in page.

Standard text and firm-price: the typing you stop doing

Both live on the Settings page, both apply to the whole shop, and both take effect on new listings and shipments after you change them.

Standard listing and transaction text

  • Standard text at the end of the listing description —— appended to the end of every item’s description (how you pack, where to ask questions). It replaces the system’s default 「ご購入前のお願い」 block, up to 600 characters.
  • The message sent to the buyer on shipment —— sent automatically when you press “Mark shipped” in the console, up to 800 characters.

Leave either blank and the system default is used; they never end up empty.

Firm-price (decline haggling) auto-reply

With this on, when a buyer messages asking whether you could go lower, the system politely declines using the fixed Japanese text you wrote. Three things to know first:

  • It answers each buyer automatically only once; after that the thread goes to a human, so nobody gets a wall of bot replies.
  • Bundle purchases and “reserved for you” requests are not auto-answered — they still come to you.
  • The fixed text is Japanese (sent to the buyer verbatim, up to 500 characters). Leave it blank and the system default is used; the grey text in the field is that default.

Notifications only alert you

Alerts for sales, pending shipments and unanswered support are recorded on the console’s Notifications page; turn on browser push or email to receive them outside the site too.

  • Everything day-to-day happens at console.pfpmarket.space.
  • The complete notification record is on the console’s Notifications page.
📝
An alert is not an outcome

Receiving an alert does not mean the item, shipment or support action has been completed. Do it in the web console and confirm the page’s state has updated.

Connect your own AI (Claude / ChatGPT)

If you have Claude or ChatGPT, you can let your AI read this shop’s support messages directly, see the reply guidelines and answer buyers on your behalf, and edit and save Mercari drafts. The AI cost lands on your own account — we do not take that money, and we never receive your AI account’s credentials.

How to connect (three steps):

  1. Under Settings → Connect your own AI (Claude / ChatGPT) press Copy to get the connector URL, then add it to Claude (custom connector) or ChatGPT (Apps / Connectors).
  2. An authorisation page appears: sign in with the same Google account you use for this console and choose the store. There is no second password.
  3. After that you can ask your AI “which support messages are waiting?”, or have it draft and send replies.
⚠️
Replies sent from there really do reach the buyer

A reply sent from your AI is exactly the same as pressing send in the console: it cannot be recalled and the buyer sees it. The reply guidelines and prohibited-wording checks still stop what should not go out, but “I sent the wrong thing, take it back” is not possible. If that makes you uneasy, let it draft only and send from the console after checking.

📝
Cannot see this card?

It is shown only to accounts that can reply to support (support write permission). If you cannot see it, this account does not have that permission — ask operations.

One AI for several stores, one Mac for one store

One AI can manage several stores, but each Mac is registered to one store only (its hardware UUID plus the Mercari account logged in on it). In a store with the machine check on, every run first confirms it is on the right Mac and stops if not — it never writes for another store.

Setting stock and automation from the draft’s note

Write a note for the AI in the Mercari draft to set the item’s stock and automation:

  • stock count (e.g. 「在庫5個」)
  • when to list the next unit after a sale (minutes / hours)
  • drop ¥X every N days, down to ¥Y
  • relist after N unsold days (1–365)

Your AI first preserves the original note privately and quotes it verbatim. Only the quantity, replenishment timing, drop amount / floor and relisting conditions you actually specified become settings. A successful configuration reads back the saved settings; merely recording the note does not mean they are active. No Google Sheet is needed. Stock and work notes stay out of the buyer-facing description (a save that includes them is refused).

For draft-confirm stores, settings remain pending until the first listing. After you publish manually, the AI must verify the same item in the same store, record the actual listing ID and read back the binding before continuing authorized stock, replenishment, price-drop or relisting work. Internally operated full-auto stores use their own authorized execution path. Completed drafts, the merchant’s original prices and original photos stay as they are; price changes follow only settings or changes you explicitly authorize. Missing information, unclear authorization or an unconfirmed save leaves that item on HOLD. A HOLD is distinct from a connection failure and cannot be reported as completion.

“Relist after N unsold days” runs through the existing due-action and execution path only after your explicit instruction, saved settings and confirmed item binding. Before acting, it checks the store’s permission, the real item state and the pricing rules. Missing evidence leaves a recorded HOLD reason; it does not authorize unlisting, changing a price or creating a duplicate listing.

The referral programme and mentor rewards are on the Settings page too

Two more cards sit at the bottom of the Settings page. Both bear directly on your wholesale credit line, and both are easy to scroll past as “not about me”:

  • Referral programme —— your 6-digit invite code, “Copy invite message” / “Share” buttons, and the My students list (who registered your code, who has qualified, who is still awaiting a first deposit).
  • Mentor rewards —— a view-only wallet: balance, amounts expiring soon, and a monthly breakdown (credited / applied / expired each month, with credits itemised per student).

How the multiplier grows, how you become a mentor and how the balance is used are written up in full in the Wholesale market chapter. They are not repeated here, so the two cannot end up saying different things.

What the console is for / what phone alerts are for

Entry point What it is for
Console (console.pfpmarket.space) Every operation: listing review, price changes and unlisting, orders and shipping, support replies, notifications, settings — everything that changes data happens here
Phone alerts Browser push and email only alert you; whether something has been handled is checked in the console
🔍
Where something is not enabled, the console says so plainly

If some automation is not yet wired up for your shop (say the Mercari unlisting channel is not enabled), the console marks it as not configured and suggests retrying later or handling it on the selling platform. It does not pretend it did the work.
