Editing and unlisting a live item
Editing a published item depends on shop permissions and channels. Unlisting pauses public visibility, differs from permanent deletion and requires confirmation.
With shop authorization and an available channel, request edits from the item detail. A price change counts as complete only when the public page reads back the same price. Title and description changes count as complete when the save succeeds; they are not read back, so check the item page. Stock, relisting and price drops remain unavailable until BYO manual first publication and same-shop binding are verified. Unlisting pauses public visibility and differs from permanent deletion; important actions require confirmation.
Changeable: price · title · quantity (resale count) · auto price-drop rules · unlist / relist. The item description can be edited freely while it is still a draft; once listed it cannot currently be edited from the console — the same goes for photos, category and item condition. To change those, unlist and relist (or use the Mercari app), or tell operations.
First: find the item
Sign in to console.pfpmarket.space → My products, then switch with the tabs at the top: On sale / Unlisted / Under review / Price-dropping.
Open the item you want to change. Price, title and quantity are directly editable fields; change them and save. Unlisting happens on the same page (two-step confirmation, below).
Changing the price
Type the new number into the price field on the detail page and save. The system changes the price on the platform, then reads the real price back and checks it. Only on a match does it update the record and confirm to you.

Mercari’s minimum is ¥300. Anything below that is refused and no change is attempted. If the price read back does not match what you asked for, the system shows “価格が未確定” and asks you to confirm by hand — it does not guess.
A price change is checked by the pricing rule in the List an item chapter too. When the rule refuses it, the console asks for a reason: it is sent only with a reason (at least 5 characters), recorded with your signed-in account.
Changing the title
Edit the title field on the detail page and save; it syncs to the platform.

Mercari’s limit is 40 characters. Over that, you are asked to shorten it before it is sent.
Adjusting an auto price-drop (step size / floor)
Already set an auto price-drop and want to change the amount or the floor? Just overwrite the setting in the item detail; you do not have to stop it first. To stop it entirely, press Stop and the price freezes where it is. Everything currently dropping is collected under the Price-dropping tab in My products. How to set it up is in the “Automatic price drops” section of the List an item chapter.
After 7 days on sale, the description ending is refreshed
For a Mercari item that has been on sale for more than 7 days, the system changes the ending of its description once, to keep the listing active: it rotates the trailing hashtags (drops the oldest one and adds this month’s seasonal keyword), or adds a short seasonal line when there is no hashtag block, and removes symbols Mercari does not accept when needed. The title and price are not changed. Once this month’s seasonal keyword is already in the description it is left alone until the next month, so in practice one item is refreshed about once a month. Up to 20 items a day are handled, and a refresh counts only once Mercari shows the new description back. Stores that list from your own machine / AI are never modified, and items whose content was finalised outside Meguru or whose price rule you confirmed keep their text unchanged too.
Unlisting / deleting
Before pressing Unlist on the item detail, distinguish pausing public visibility from permanent deletion.
The system shows a two-step confirmation and executes only after the corresponding buttons are confirmed. Unlisting pauses public visibility; it is not permanent deletion. Existing orders are unaffected. The console currently has no verified same-item resume entry point; check actual Mercari state before subsequent operations. An unconfigured channel cannot execute the action; ask operations to check it.

If the item was set up as several identical units sold one after another (quantity greater than 1), a sale shows 売れました！. With automatic relisting on, the system waits out a cooldown and queues the next unit by itself (the post-sale cooldown is adjustable on the Settings page). With it off, open the item detail and press Relist: one press puts the next unit up directly, with no preview step. Both sold and unlisted items can be relisted this way.
Quantity (the resale count) M is the total number of units of this item: one unit is listed at a time, shown as “Unit N of M”, and after each sale the next unit is listed automatically until the M-th sells; warehouse stock is not synced. A unit that sells within 60 minutes of listing counts as priced too low, so the next unit is never cheaper. The master switch and post-sale cooldown for automatic relisting live on the console’s Settings page by default (a shop-wide default applied to every item). When an item’s resale count is set to 2 or more, you can also give that one item its own switch and cooldown (leave it blank to follow the shop default). See the Seller console chapter.
When nothing happens
- You edit right after listing and get “商品IDが未確定”: the platform has not returned the item number yet. Wait a minute or two and try again.
- You get “価格が未確定”: the price read back does not match what you asked for. Nothing was guessed — confirm it by hand on the platform.
- It says “channel not configured”: your shop is not connected to the execution channel for this action. Ask operations to enable it.
- You want to change photos or the description: not possible directly once listed. Unlist and relist, or tell operations.
