Monthly settlement
From the console dashboard pick a month out of the last six, open Monthly performance to see the system's recorded sales, the estimated platform fee and the amount payable, and download the settlement CSV. These figures are not Mercari's final reconciliation.
There is no separate “finance” item in the navigation. After signing in to the web console, the dashboard shows the last six months of sales; click a month and you land on that month’s Monthly performance page (or open #/reports directly). The Orders & shipping page only handles orders and parcels; the monthly report no longer sits at the bottom of a long order list. The console URL and how you sign in follow what operations has enabled for you; for the screens see the Seller console chapter.
What the settlement lists
Monthly performance lists, per shop, what this system recorded for the chosen month, and lets you download that month’s settlement CSV. Here is an example (illustrative numbers, not real amounts):
- Sales this month ¥48,600
- Platform fee (estimated) −¥4,860
- Amount payable ¥43,740 (= sales − fee)
Next to each amount is a label saying what kind of source it is. The three do not carry the same weight:
| Label | What it actually is | Watch out |
|---|---|---|
| Estimate | The system’s own calculation from sold orders | Excludes shipping, so the real payout is lower |
| Ledger confirmed | Meguru’s own commission ledger for what closed through this system | It is our ledger, not Mercari’s |
| Platform actuals | Mercari’s official sales detail, once imported | As of the moment of import; later platform changes are not followed automatically |
The amounts here only cover revenue that closed through this system. Mercari’s official figures cannot be synced into the console in real time, for three reasons — none of which are latency; they simply cannot be done:
- For a personal Mercari account, the official fees, refunds and balance history are only visible in the Mercari app (on a phone). There is no web entry point for them.
- Mercari Shops does have an official sales-detail CSV, but it has to be imported separately (a sync request usually produces a result the next day). It is not a live feed.
- Refunds, cancellations or discounts you make directly on Mercari are entirely invisible to the console.
For the final reconciliation, use Mercari’s own figures in its console.
When you need to reconcile
- Mercari Shops: on the Monthly performance page press Import official sales-detail CSV to bring the platform’s own detail in. Once imported, the official versus our estimate block lists the difference and each cancellation or special adjustment directly — no manual comparison needed.
- Personal Mercari: there is no official monthly CSV on the web, so the page only shows the count of sold orders the system could observe, and will not use that to infer fees or net receipts. Check the full picture of fees, refunds and payouts in the Mercari app’s balance history.
- When the two sides simply will not agree, hand operations the downloaded settlement CSV together with the platform console’s own numbers.
The monthly closing date, when payouts arrive, and whether sellers can only view or can also confirm payouts in the console, follow the process operations actually provides for now. This page will be updated once that is settled.
