From setup to getting paid, step by step

12 chapters, covering only what the web console can actually do today; anything unfinished or still being confirmed is not written up as a usable step.

Chapter 01
Before you start
Enable console access, prepare photos and confirm your shop’s connection mode. BYO shops save drafts in their own authorized environment, publish manually first, then verify the binding.
Chapter 02
The seller console — your cockpit
The web console is the central place to view and manage your shop’s Meguru records. BYO native draft editing and the first manual publication happen in the merchant’s own authorized environment, followed by same-store, same-item verification. Phone push and email provide alerts.
Chapter 03
List an item
Turning one item from photos into something on sale on Mercari — upload the photos in the console, the AI writes the description, you confirm.
Chapter 04
Editing and unlisting a live item
Editing a published item depends on shop permissions and channels. Unlisting pauses public visibility, differs from permanent deletion and requires confirmation.
Chapter 05
Handling buyers
Buyer messages follow the support features enabled for your store. Automatic replies have conditions; review to-dos and drafts, and answer complaints and refunds yourself.
Chapter 06
Shipping
After payment, check the awaiting-shipment order. Carrier and QR availability depend on region, channel and registration. Completion requires confirmation of actual shipment.
Chapter 07
Monthly settlement
From the console dashboard pick a month out of the last six, open Monthly performance to see the system's recorded sales, the estimated platform fee and the amount payable, and download the settlement CSV. These figures are not Mercari's final reconciliation.
Chapter 08
Platform coverage
Mercari capabilities depend on shop mode, authorized settings, connected channels and real results. A console record alone does not prove platform execution.
Chapter 09
Troubleshooting
The preview card never arrives, the AI got the copy wrong, login is refused, no QR appears, the numbers do not match — what to do in each case.
Chapter 10
Limits
The ceilings you will almost never hit: the listing queue holds up to 50 unfinished jobs per shop, images are capped at 10 MB each, and the number of photos per upload follows your shop's setting.
Chapter 11
Listing from your own computer (Bridge)
Download Bridge from the seller console. When you press "Mercari に出品" on a draft card and confirm, it publishes the listing on Mercari for real, in your own Chrome.
Chapter 12
The wholesale market — buy from others, or let others buy from you
The console's wholesale market has two sides. You can take stock from other suppliers' pool and sell it, or put your own stock in for others to take. This chapter is about the money — when you are charged, what a return costs, and who carries an out-of-stock.
